This privacy statement applies to the activities of Start to be YOU – also called shortened Start2BU – and Leaders Fast Lane which is a service of Start2BU.

We do not process sensitive personal data such as medical or biometric data, or data on ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, political opinion, union membership or judicial information.
We process the following data:
a) Customers
The following personal data are kept of customers:
Coordinates (name, address, telephone / mobile number, email, VAT number)
IP address (only if communication via website or via forms)
Bank details and order, performance and payment history
Product-technical and / or substantive data regarding the cooperation
Name of participants of training and coaching, telephone number and email
Content of individual intake interviews is always stored anonymously without recognisable reference to the person
Purpose of the data processing of customers:
– To be able to execute the operational aspects of the cooperation with our customers as well as possible, including processing and processing of questions such as drafting quotations, performing services, administrative processing, eg invoicing of performance and follow-up of payments, solvency check, manage order and payment history….
– Tracking and limiting spam and increasing data security (in terms of IP address)
– Improve service delivery in the future, both in terms of content and form
– Provide information about new or renewed services
The legal base for this processing is based on contractual processing. By concluding an agreement – verbally, in writing or in any other way – the customer explicitly agrees to the processing of the personal data above for the above mentioned purposes.
If personal data of children under the age of 16 are processed, the explicit consent of a person in charge of parental responsibility is requested.
The retention period for this data is 10 years after the latest performance. This retention period is imposed by the Flemish government within the framework of the SME portfolio “KMO-portefeuille”.
b) Prospects
In order to ensure and organise the continuity of our company in a smooth way, we are always looking for prospects via our website, trade fairs, networking, word-of-mouth publicity, advertising …
In this context, the following personal data of prospects are kept:
Coordinates (name, address, telephone / mobile number, email)
IP address (only if communication via website or via forms)
Product-technical and / or substantive data regarding the cooperation
Purpose of data processing of prospects:

The retention period for this data is 5 years after the last contact. This storage period is necessary to give all future customers the necessary time to start a collaboration as soon as they are ready for it.

We regularly do networking. In this context, the following personal details are kept:

The retention period for this data is 10 years after the last contact. d) Suppliers
The following personal data are kept of suppliers:

The legal base for this processing is based on contractual processing. By entering into an agreement – verbally, in writing or in any other way – the supplier explicitly agrees to the processing of the above personal data for the above purposes.
The retention period for this data is 10 years after the latest performance. This retention period follows the retention period of the customer data.
e) Direct Marketing
An electronic newsletter is regularly sent to those who have registered for this.
In this context, the following personal details are kept:
– Coordinates (name, E-mail)
– IP address (only if communication via the website or via forms)
Purpose of the data processing for direct marketing
– Provide information about new or renewed services
– Tracking and limiting spam and increasing data security (in terms of IP address)
The legal basis for sending an electronic newsletter is based on (explicit) permission (opt-in on the website). With every newsletter the recipient has the possibility to unsubscribe.
This personal data is kept for up to 5 years after the most recent contact.
3. Transfer of personal data
The personal data processed by us will not be disclosed to third parties, except to a number of our suppliers (eg bookkeeper, IT partner, cloud provider, lawyer, …), but limited to those who are required to achieve the goals described above. able to realize.
